Job Title: Curriclum Manager of Science - opportunity for Associate Assistant Head Science

Working hours:

* Working hours: Full Time, Permanent

* Start Date: January 2026

Key Responsibilities:

*

Have responsibility to lead and manage a team of colleagues in the effective delivery of Science across the age and ability range of the school.

*

To provide leadership of Science, helping to ensure excellent outcomes for all students.

*

To lead the development of the Science curriculum so that all students receive a rich and challenging experience of Science.

*

Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management and committed to ensuring all students succeed and fulfil their potential.

What We’re Looking For:

* UK Qualified Teacher

* Experience teaching science

* Ability to differentiate lessons for all learners.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Passion for science and a commitment to student success.

* Updated CV and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Experience of developing and holding staff accountable.

*

An outstanding track record within your current department or role.We work hard to ensure we reduce workload on staff, allowing more time in the classroom to put our vision of students first, raising standards and transforming lives into practice.
