Description

We’re looking for an experienced Product Management Lead to take ownership of a dynamic product portfolio and drive the success of our lighting products and services. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and executing long-term product strategies that meet customer needs, seize market opportunities, and deliver sustained business growth.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution — leading teams, shaping category roadmaps, and influencing product direction across the business.

Key Responsibilities

*

Product Portfolio Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of assigned product categories — from concept and development through to launch and end-of-life — ensuring alignment with market trends and commercial goals.

*

Strategic Planning: Define and deliver 2–5 year category strategies and product roadmaps that support revenue and profit growth.

*

Product Development & Launch: Lead the creation and rollout of new products, collaborating with development, marketing, sales, and operations teams to deliver on-time, high-quality releases.

*

Market Insight & Analysis: Conduct regular market, competitor, and customer analysis to identify opportunities for innovation, pricing strategy, and category optimisation.

*

Customer & Partner Engagement: Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, using insights to guide product development and enhance customer satisfaction.

*

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the product management team — fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

*

Graduate Programme Oversight: Manage and mentor participants in the Product Management Graduate Programme, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

*

Performance Measurement: Define KPIs and track product performance, providing actionable insights and regular reports to senior leadership.

Skills & Experience

*

Proven experience in product management or category leadership, ideally within lighting, manufacturing, or a related industry.

*

Strong understanding of product management methodologies, strategic planning, and go-to-market execution.

*

Excellent market research and data analysis skills — able to translate insights into product and commercial strategy.

*

Skilled communicator and relationship builder, comfortable collaborating across departments and presenting to senior stakeholders.

*

Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and sales analysis.

*

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.

Desirable

*

Knowledge of the Construction industry or aligned sectors within the built environment or manufacturing.

*

Experience in B2B product launches and lifecycle management.

Personal Attributes

*

Innovative and Curious: Eager to experiment, learn quickly, and find creative solutions.

*

Customer-Focused: Dedicated to understanding and solving customer challenges.

*

Collaborative and Inspiring: A team player who fosters shared success and open communication.

*

Integrity-Driven: Reliable, transparent, and consistent in approach.

*

Growth-Oriented: Committed to ongoing professional and personal development
