Location: Gravesend, Kent

Start Date: January 2026

Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term (Until end of academic year)

Salary: £32,916 - £45,352

School Type: Two-form entry primary school

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced primary class teacher with a passion for making a positive impact in a welcoming and supportive school community?

We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Gravesend from January 2026 until the end of the academic year. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

This welcoming and inclusive school is proud of its strong focus on raising achievement for all pupils. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child receives the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to succeed and thrive.

The successful KS2 Teacher will be responsible for:

Full class teaching responsibilities
Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons
Writing reports and keep pupil records
Attending and contributing to parents' evenings
Managing behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment

What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Strong behaviour management skills
A solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
Experience in assessing pupils progress effectively and using data to inform teaching and learning strategies
Up-to-date safeguarding training
