Location: Gravesend, Kent

Start Date: January 2026

Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term (Until end of academic year)

Salary: £32,916 - £45,352

Are you a passionate and skilled Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher looking to join a supportive school community? We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Gravesend from January 2026 until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality teaching in the EYFS, ensuring all pupils receive engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and excellent planning skills are essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering creative, stimulating lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
Creating a nurturing and safe learning environment where every child can thrive
Assessing and monitoring pupils' progress to inform future planning
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's development
Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports as required

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Solid knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and curriculum
Strong planning and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A nurturing and patient approach to supporting young learners
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Up-to-date safeguarding training
