Quality Manager – FMCG (GMP)
Location: West Sussex
Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Are you a proactive and experienced Quality Manager looking to make a real impact within a fast-paced FMCG environment? Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality consumer goods, is seeking a driven Quality professional to lead their QA/QC operations and uphold exceptional standards across production and packaging.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all aspects of the site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.

* Oversee product quality, hygiene, and safety processes to meet customer and legal expectations.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality systems, auditing, and process controls.

* Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformances.

* Provide training, guidance, and leadership to Quality and production teams.

* Collaborate closely with Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain to support new product introductions and process validation.

About You

* Degree (or equivalent) in a scientific, technical, or quality-related discipline.

* Proven experience in a Quality Management role within an FMCG, food, or pharmaceutical environment.

* Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and retailer/customer codes of practice.

* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

* A hands-on approach with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
