We are currently assisting our client in recruiting for multiple Labourers to join a high-profile school build project in Cranbrook, with immediate starts available. This is a fantastic opportunity for hard working and reliable Labourers to gain hands on experience on a major construction site.
The project will run for a minimum of 4-6 weeks, with work scheduled Monday to Friday, and potential weekend overtime available. You must be able to get to site for a 7:30 AM start 8 hours per day. The salary £130 per 8 hour day £16.25 per hour. The client offers on site parking, with CIS or PAYE payment options available.
Labourer Key Responsibilities:
• Site clearance, tidying, and maintaining a safe working environment
• Loading and unloading deliveries of materials
• Moving materials around the site as required
• Performing basic demolition and strip-out work
• Rubbish removal and general waste management
• Ensuring tools and equipment are clean and in good working order
• Adhering to all Health and Safety regulations on site
• Supporting the site management team with general ad-hoc duties
Labourer Requirements:
• Valid CSCS card
• Full PPE
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors
• Previous site labouring experience preferred
• Punctual, dependable, and a team player
• Must be able to travel to site, so ideally have own transport
• Parking is available on site
