Procurement Manager - Utilities - 12 Month Contract - £25 per hour (£50k per year)

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join a dynamic team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle within the utilities sector. This role requires a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics to support procurement processes and supplier management effectively.

You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure value for money, compliance, and timely delivery. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers is essential to drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement activities. Experience in the utilities industry is a must, as is the ability to work independently and lead procurement initiatives that align with business objectives.

- Proven procurement management experience within the utilities industry
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
- Contract negotiation and supplier management
- End-to-end source-to-pay process expertise
- Stakeholder engagement and communication
- Risk and compliance management
- Strategic sourcing and category management

Software/Tools
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Certifications & Standards
- CIPS qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and compliance standards
