Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Mobile Roofer’s Mate to join our regional maintenance and construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills, gain hands-on experience, and work in a supportive and professional environment.

In this mobile position, you will work alongside skilled roofers on a variety of projects, including repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance to both flat and pitched roofs. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality work is delivered on time and to the satisfaction of our customers.

PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO BE LOCATED IN WALTON-ON-THAMES.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist roofers with carrying out repairs and maintenance.

* Set up controlled working areas using safety barriers.

* Support inspections and help identify roof defects.

* Work on flat, tiled, and slated roofs under supervision.

* Complete and return all necessary paperwork promptly.

* Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.

Skills & Attributes

* Ability to use a smartphone or PDA for communication and reporting.

* Commitment to delivering high-quality work right the first time.

* Comfortable working at height on pitched and flat roofs.

* Good manual handling ability and physical fitness.

* Strong timekeeping and efficiency when working with the roofer.

Qualifications & Requirements

* PASMA / TETRA training (advantageous, but not essential).

* Full, current driving licence.

* Willingness to undergo a DBS check before starting.

Experience

* Minimum of 2 years’ trade experience, ideally within the commercial repairs sector.

* Experience working safely and effectively at height is essential
