Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Lincolnshire
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Company Car/Allowance + Benefits
Hours of Work: Full-time, Permanent
Type: Permanent
Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Quantity Surveyor who has strong experience in civil engineering and groundworks to work on a variety of infrastructure and construction projects across Lincolnshire. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established regional contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering quality schemes safely, on time, and within budget.

Duties of a Quantity Surveyor

In this role, you will be working within the commercial team to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and managing project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.

Procuring and managing subcontractors, materials, and labour.

Producing and agreeing interim and final accounts.

Assisting with tenders, take-offs, and pricing new works.

Providing accurate financial information and forecasts to support commercial decision-making.

Skills and Experience of a Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will need experience with:

Civil engineering or groundworks projects within a contracting environment.

Managing the full commercial lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects.

It would be beneficial to the Quantity Surveyor role if you also had:

Experience with NEC or JCT contracts.

A qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (HND/Degree).

Strong communication and negotiation skills.
