Cover Teachers Needed in Burton-on-Trent

Pay: £100 - £160 per day (dependent on experience)
Positions Available: Long-term | Short-term | Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediate availability

We’re excited to be working with John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Cover Teachers for schools in Cannock. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in local students' education while enjoying the flexibility of a varied role.

About the Role:
As a Cover Teacher, you will:

Lead whole classes in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with set work

Create a positive and focused learning environment, managing the classroom effectively

Support students with lesson content, ensuring learning goals are achieved

Confidently manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Communicate any issues or concerns to relevant school staff

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth-focused role

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Confidence to deliver lessons across a variety of subjects

A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine passion for supporting student learning

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
