Job Title: On-Site Test Rig Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum
Type: Full-Time | Permanent

My client who are a global leader within the industry are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled On-Site Test Rig Engineer to join their team. As part of their metrology operations, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of high-spec test equipment for their customers across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

Calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and metrology best practices.
Calibrate a wide range of instrumentation, including electrical, temperature, load, force, flow, and pressure measuring equipment, to traceable and accredited standards.
Accurately complete all certificates, records, and documentation, ensuring deadlines and worksheet instructions are met.About You – Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
Diagnostic & Fault-Finding Skills
Electrical and mechanical diagnostics on test rigs and systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and accurately.
Mechanical & Hydraulic Knowledg
Understanding of hydraulic systems, mechanical assemblies, and pressure systems
Experience working with test rigs, tooling, and jig recertification
Solid knowledge of calibration principles and standards.
Familiarity with on-site service environments and customer-facing roles.Benefits
