Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

Location: Felixstowe, UK

Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE) + Commission + Car Allowance

My client is looking for a results driven, Business Development Manager to help grow their business and Freight Forwarding sector. The right candidate will be a sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder looking to make their next step in their career. Knowledge and experience with Air and/or Ocean Freight is essential.

To develop and maintain eﬀective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent customer service.
To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable proﬁt.
Promote the business to new and existing clients to help grow the Freight Forwarding sector.
Provide accurate information to internal operations staﬀ in order that all relevant administration can be completed eﬃciently.
Be up-to-date on current developments in the market and information on competitors.Requirements:

Freight Forwarding Sales Experience.
Air Freight/Ocean Freight experience.
