MDRS are UK based but specialise in helping engineering professionals to secure their first role in New Zealand and Australia. We have over 20 years of experience in working in the Australasian engineering markets and have developed a network of consulting engineering clients who work across a wide range of skill-sets.
We are currently working across a wide range of engineering design roles but at the moment we would be especially keen to hear from Civil and Water Engineers.
These roles are located in their Auckland CBD office (other locations can be considered) and will be focused on the design, planning and managing of three waters infrastructure projects.
The Three Waters Team are currently very busy with a wide-ranging mix of projects throughout New Zealand, and you will be offered a varied workload and interesting projects to design and deliver.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide technical expertise, project management across a range of projects involving stormwater management plans, hydraulic modelling, engineering design, and other flood management and network projects.
* Experience in the planning and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
* Strong client facing and business development skills.
* Experience in mentoring junior team members.
We would be keen to hear from Civil/ Water Engineers who have:
* 7+ years work experience in related roles.
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or working towards it.
* Experience in delivering stormwater projects.
* Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and design of pipe and surface networks, or flood control systems.
* Skills using or interpreting results with software such as InfoWorks ICM, MIKE DHI, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW and GIS.
* Relevant degree such as a Bachelor of Engineering.
