The Role - Behaviour Mentor

We’re seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a well-established SEMH school in Lambeth. The school supports students aged 5-16 who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, often alongside additional challenges such as ADHD, ASD, and behavioural difficulties. The provision offers tailored support to help students re-engage with learning and develop emotional regulation and resilience.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you’ll work closely with pupils in small groups and one-to-one settings, helping them manage their emotions, regulate behaviour, and stay focused in lessons. You’ll play a key role in promoting a positive and structured learning environment, supporting academic progress and personal development.

The School - SEMH School in Lambeth

Located in the London Borough of Lambeth, this mixed-gender SEMH school caters to students across KS1 to KS4. Many pupils have experienced disrupted education due to exclusions or unmet SEN needs. The school is committed to giving every child a second chance through personalised support, clear boundaries, and a therapeutic approach to behaviour management.

With a strong emphasis on academic achievement and emotional well-being, the school helps students build confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to transition successfully into mainstream education or further pathways.
