Due to business growth we are looking for two nights shift maintenance engineers to join the existing team. The shift pattern offers a great work life balance working 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next.

As a maintenance engineer you will be supporting manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, and operational targets. You’ll work closely with your management and production teams, ensuring all engineering tasks meet high standards and contribute to continuous improvement. Working in this modern, fast paced manufacturing environment you will be responsible for all reactive and proactive maintenance activities, the business have a great reputation & employee retention.

Basic salary of £53,900

Holiday 252 hours per year

Shift pattern

Position 1

Week 1: Sunday to Tuesday – 6pm to 6am (36 hours)

Week 2: Saturday to Tuesday – 6pm-6am (48 hours)

Position 2

Week 1: Wednesday to Friday – 6pm to 6am (36 hours)

Week 2: Wednesday to Saturday – 6pm-6am (48 hours)

The role as a Maintenance Engineer

Carry out safe engineering operations, reporting hazards and adhering to Health & Safety policies.

Ensure machine repairs and modifications meet site quality standards.

Communicate effectively with production teams and provide clear shift handovers.

Support and mentor machine operators in problem-solving.

Participate in continuous improvement projects and technical trials.

Maintain accurate records in EMA and Gemba systems.

Follow preventative maintenance schedules and support site security.

Skills and Qualifications required in this Maintenance engineers role;

Minimum of a Level 3 Engineering qualification either Mechanical or Electrical

2 years experience working in an FMCG environment

Strong focus on health and safety

Great communication & teamwork skills

**Requirements** - Minimum 2 years’ engineering experience in FMCG. - Relevant engineering qualification. - Mechanical engineering experience required, electrical experience advantageous.
