Civil Engineers – UK Water Sector

Join Binnies (part of the RSK Group) as we continue to expand across the UK following key AMP8 framework wins. We’re looking for Civil Engineers to join our Delivery team from October 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the design and delivery of non-infrastructure water projects within a fast-paced design and build environment. As part of a dynamic engineering team, you’ll contribute to sustainable water solutions that positively impact communities across the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be representing the Civil Engineering discipline on a range of design and build projects, including:

*

Preparing complex engineering deliverables and specifications

*

Producing calculations and reports following best practice and industry standards

*

Coordinating tasks across internal teams and external partners

*

Managing and analysing data for civil design inputs

*

Supporting cost, programme, and quality delivery

*

Engaging with clients and contributing to project leadership

*

Mentoring graduate/junior engineers and promoting innovation

*

Keeping current on industry standards, tools, and methods

What We’re Looking For:

*

A BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering (essential)

*

Chartered Engineer status or actively working toward chartership

*

Experience in detailed design within the water sector (desirable)

*

Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills

*

Understanding of project delivery within budget and programme targets

*

Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks

*

A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a keen eye for detail
