SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity – Barking & Dagenham 🌟
📍 Location: Barking & Dagenham, East London
📅 Start Date: Immediate
💼 Contract: Full-time | Term-time only
💰 Pay: £80–£110 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? We are supporting a number of inclusive schools in Barking & Dagenham who are seeking caring, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

Role Responsibilities:

*

Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, learning difficulties)

*

Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons and activities

*

Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies

*

Create a nurturing, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

*

Support with communication, social skills and emotional regulation

We’re Looking For:

✅ Experience supporting children with SEN (in school, care, or community settings)
✅ A compassionate, patient and proactive approach
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ A genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
✅ Eligibility to work in the UK
✅ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
