School Business Manager - Greenwich - SEN School - Permanent - Paying up to £65,000 (dependent on experience) - Full time (flexible working available)

The Role: School Business Manager

The School Business Manager will lead support teams across sites, ensuring strong financial systems, effective budget management, and operational excellence. Working closely with senior leaders, the School Business Manager will support long-term strategic planning and maintain compliance with Ofsted, DfE, and financial regulations.

Key responsibilities include managing payroll, VAT, and credit control; overseeing premises and administration; leading procurement and supplier contracts; and ensuring readiness for audits and inspections. The School Business Manager will also line manage finance, admin, and maintenance staff, promoting professional development and accountability.

We are seeking a proactive School Business Manager with proven experience in education finance and multi-site operations, strong leadership skills, and excellent attention to detail. Experience with Xero, ApprovalMax, or Peninsula is desirable.

This SEN school is found in the London Borough of Greenwich and provides alternative education to young people age 11-25 with complex needs. They provide tailored education to their students, providing them with the qualifications and skills to prepare them for life beyond school.
