Location: Huyton, Merseyside
Agency: Prospero Teaching
Salary: GBP105 GBP115 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Supply

The Role

Prospero Teaching are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team, supporting a range of primary schools in Huyton.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties. Roles are available on both a flexible supply basis and in longer-term placements, depending on your experience and availability.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND needs

Assist class teachers in delivering differentiated lessons and targeted interventions

Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

Support childrens social, emotional and academic development

Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs and other staff to monitor and report on pupil progress

Requirements

Previous experience supporting children with SEND (in school or similar settings)

A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting learning

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
