Job Title: CMM Inspector
Location: Redditch
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour (rising after 3 months)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a precision-driven CMM Inspector with a passion for accuracy and quality? This is your chance to join a well-established aerospace manufacturer producing world-class, high-performance components for the aviation industry.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring every part meets the strictest standards — using the latest inspection tools and advanced CMM technology.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Carry out dimensional inspections of aerospace components using CMM equipment (PC-DMIS or similar).

Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality specifications.

Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance.

Complete detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Identify and report non-conformances and assist with root cause analysis when required.

Maintain and calibrate all inspection equipment to a high standard.

Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to uphold exceptional standards.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a CMM Inspector within aerospace or precision engineering.

Strong understanding of CMM inspection and manual measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, height gauges).

Confident in reading complex technical drawings.

Experience using PC-DMIS software (or similar).

Familiarity with AS9100 or other aerospace quality standards (preferred).

High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and great communication skills.
