Description

A secondary mainstream school in Boston require a cover teacher or cover supervisor on a full time basis (Monday to Friday) to start immediately. Working hours are 08:30 - 15:30 and pay is reflective of experience. Cover Supervisor pay (unqualified) ranges from £150-£180 per day and qualified teacher pay is £200 per day. The role involves covering lessons for absent members of staff each day, where work has been prepared and left by the absent teacher. There is no panning or marking required for this role and your responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of lessons, keep the children on task and manage behaviour in the classroom whilst the children get on with their work. Please be aware, this school has 2 sites which are half a mile apart and so at times, you will be required to travel between sites; access to a car or electric scooter/bicycle is essential. Due to the short recrutiment window for this role we are seeking individuals who hold a valid enhanced DBS check which is registered with the update service, although applications remain open to those who don't, for alternative roles in the future.

Applicants must have relevant experience of working with children in a supervisory capacity within the last 5 years and must also be able to provide references from work within the last two years under safer recruitment guildelines from the DFE.
