The Role
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join the team as Trainee Slaughtermen. This is a rare opportunity to gain full, structured training in humane slaughter techniques, knife skills, and carcass preparation within a respected and established meat processing business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting experienced slaughtermen in day-to-day operations

* Learning safe and humane slaughter practices in line with UK legislation

* Assisting with dressing, trimming, and preparation of carcasses

* Maintaining high standards of hygiene, animal welfare, and food safety

* Working as part of a close-knit, supportive production team

About You:

* Keen to learn a skilled trade within the food and agriculture industry

* Reliable, hardworking, and eager to develop long-term skills

* Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

* Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment

* Previous experience in agriculture, butchery, or food production is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided
