Title: Senior Planner
Location: Keighly, North Yorkshire
Salary: £70-80,000 + car allowance + package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading name in the UK construction industry on a technically demanding, high value construction project based in North Yorkshire.

The Senior Planning Engineer will a highly regarded main contractor who are renowned for delivering landmark construction projects. They will join their busy regional team on a £600m flagship scheme.

As a key member of the project delivery team, you'll play a vital role throughout both tender and live project stages, bringing clarity, precision, and foresight to complex planning challenges. This is a hands-on, site-based role where your technical acumen and proactive approach will ensure that programmes are not only robust and realistic, but also drive performance and excellence across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning function for a major construction project from tender through delivery.
Develop, monitor, and update detailed project programmes using industry-standard software.
Work closely with project teams, design managers, and commercial leads to ensure accurate sequencing and delivery strategies.
Identify potential risks and opportunities, providing strategic insight to support project success.
Report progress, produce updates, and maintain full visibility for all stakeholders.About You:

A proven background working for a main contractor in a planning role on large-scale construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and critical path management.
Experienced in using Asta Powerproject and confident in producing and communicating detailed programmes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Driven, detail-oriented, and ready to make an impact on a major regional scheme.Offer:

£70-85,000 per annum
Annual car allowance or choice of company car
