Science Teacher - Upminster
Full-time, permanent
Start date: Immediate Start
Location: Secondary School, Upminster

Key responsibilities:

Teach science across KS3 and KS4

Use practical, inquiry‑based learning to engage pupils

Assess student progress, give feedback, differentiate lessons

Work collaboratively with the science team

Participate in whole school life (extracurriculars, events)

Requirements / Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or about to achieve it)

Strong subject knowledge across biology, chemistry, physics

Excellent classroom management skills

Ability to plan effective lessons and adapt to learners' needs

Commitment to professional development and mentoring/support programme
