SEN Classroom Assistant – Gateshead Area
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Long-term / Day to day
Location: Gateshead 

We’re currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring, and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with complex needs across EYFS to Year 9 in specialist schools throughout the Gateshead area.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work as part of a supportive team, helping to promote both the learning and personal development of pupils in your care. You’ll be involved in delivering creative, inclusive, and hands-on learning experiences both in the classroom and through practical, sensory, and therapeutic activities.

Many of our partner schools are equipped with fantastic resources including soft play areas, sensory integration suites, immersive technology rooms, gyms, and hydrotherapy pools - creating an inspiring environment for both staff and pupils.

We’re looking for individuals who are:

Passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people
Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn new approaches
Comfortable working as part of a collaborative and caring team
A Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential.  What We Offer:
