Now Hiring: L2 Early Years Practitioner

Location: Coventry

We are seeking experienced and passionate Early Years Practitioners to work in nurseries across the Coventry and Warwickshire area. This is a new opportunity for Early Years educators to develop their skills and bring their passion to support the development of children during their most determinative years.

Job Duties:

Nurseries across Coventry and Warwickshire are looking to appoint dedicated Early Years Practitioners to bring innovation, motivation, and skill to their teams. Supporting children aged 0-5, you will help to facilitate play-based and structured learning whilst meeting emotional and physical care needs.

As a L2 Early Years Practitioner at our friendly nursery in Coventry, you will be responsible for providing personal care to children, planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, and assessing their development progress. You will create a nurturing environment following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

Level 2 or higher Early Years Qualification
Paediatric First Aid Qualification
Enhanced Child's DBS Certificate (or willingness to apply)

Experience:

Prior experience working with young children in an Early Years setting is necessary.

Role Specifications:

Experience in following Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines
Ability to adapt and deliver age appropriate engaging activities
Observe and assess children's development, recognising and reporting key progress to senior staff and parents/ carers
Assisting with personal care routines - including feeding, toileting and hygeine
Work collaboratively with a team of Early Years professionals to support individual children's development and wellbeing
You may be supporting children with a range of SEN or EAL pupils so confidence working with complex SEN would be beneficial

Working Conditions:

You will work in a vibrant and supportive nursery environment in Coventry. The role may involve some physical activity and requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the children and their families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
