We are looking for highly motivated, flexible, and committed SEN Teaching Assistant for an SEN School based on the Wirral

Location: Wirral

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: £13.68 per hour

About the Role:

Based on the Wirral, this is a school that specialties in Primary SEN with a variety of complex needs. Some personal care would be required and candidates will need to have a kind, compassionate and passionate nature.

The role is full-time long term and potentially permanent for the right candidate.

Benefits:

Temporary to Permanent for the right candidate.

Key Requirements:

Experience and understanding of how to support young people with social, emotional, mental health needs

*

School experience

*

References covering the last two years (no gaps)

*

Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to take one out

*

The Right to Work in the UK

Duties will include:

*

Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities

*

Helping children with their reading

*

Preparing the classroom for a lesson

*

Working with pupils in small groups/and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs

*

Putting together displays of children’s work

*

Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour

*

Listening to children read, reading to them, or telling them stories

*

Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks

*

Supervising group activities
