Our public sector client are looking for a Plumber on a tempoary basis.

Job Purpose

To carry out high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across CBC properties, ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

*

Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations to a high standard.

*

Support responsive repairs, void property works, and planned maintenance.

*

Work across trades where necessary to meet service demands.

*

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times.

*

Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations.

*

Report safeguarding concerns and major variations in repair needs.

*

Maintain accurate records using digital tools (e.g. PDA).

*

Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as required.

*

Attend training and toolbox talks to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

*

Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repair.

*

Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ or equivalent).

*

Full UK driving licence.

*

Ability to use digital devices to log and manage jobs.

*

Strong customer service and communication skills.

*

Awareness of health & safety and safeguarding protocols
