Job Title: Accounts Receivable - Team Leader (Temp to Perm)
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site)
Pay Rate: £20.00 - £24.70 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Leader - Accounts Receivable to oversee AR operations within the EMEA Finance team. You'll lead a small team managing invoicing, collections, cash applications, and AR reconciliations across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong leadership skills to step into a dynamic role offering progression and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the AR team, ensuring timely invoicing and collections across multiple regions.

Oversee reconciliation of AR aging reports and ensure accuracy of cash receipts processing.

Monitor and report on AR performance metrics, identifying risks and opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues and improve service delivery.

Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and internal financial policies.

Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reporting via the Projects module.

Drive continuous improvement in AR processes and systems.

Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.

Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding AR matters.

Candidate Profile

Proven experience leading Accounts Receivable functions within a large, complex organization.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Finance or Accounting qualifications preferred; relevant experience considered.

Knowledge of financial costing, pricing, reporting, and invoicing.

Familiarity with US GAAP advantageous.
