Electrician & Electrician’s Mate – Maidstone

We are currently looking for an Electrician and an Electrician’s Mate to work as a pair on a busy construction project in Lydd.

Job Details:

Location: Lydd, Kent

Start Date: 20/10/2025

Duration: 6-8 months

Pay: Electrician - £210 per day, Electricians mate - between £180/£190 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00

Role Overview:

You will be working together as a team carrying out electrical installation works on a new build site. The pair will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of electrical work, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Duties include:

Installation of containment, wiring, and lighting systems

First and second fix works

Assisting with testing and commissioning

Working to site drawings and plans

Maintaining a safe and tidy work area

Requirements:

Electrician: JIB Gold Card or ECS card, NVQ Level 3 (2391), 18th Edition,

Mate: ECS card or equivalent, Previous experience working as an electricians mate, NVQ level 1 or 2

Ability to work well as a team and follow site safety procedures

minimum of 5 years EXP (preffered 10-15 years)
