Housing Officer (Neighbourhoods)

📍 Shropshire (with travel across the area)
💼 Permanent | 37 hours per week
💰 £33,366 - £35,235 + Local Government Pension Scheme

We’re working with a respected housing provider in Shropshire who is seeking a Housing Officer (Neighbourhoods) to join their dynamic Neighbourhoods team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in housing management who enjoys working closely with residents, tackling challenges, and helping communities thrive.

🔑 What You’ll Be Doing

* Managing a patch of properties, acting as the main contact for tenants and leaseholders.

* Delivering a proactive, high-quality housing management service across estates.

* Handling complex tenancy issues including ASB, tenancy breaches, and estate management.

* Working with partners and residents to resolve local issues and improve neighbourhoods.

* Coaching and supporting Housing Assistants within the team.

* Attending court, preparing statements, and managing tenancy enforcement where necessary.

* Promoting tenant participation and ensuring residents have a strong voice in their communities.

💡 What We’re Looking For

* Experience in housing management, tenancy enforcement, or neighbourhood services.

* Strong knowledge of housing law, ASB casework, and safeguarding.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

* A proactive, community-focused approach and a commitment to customer service.

* A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
