* Monitor daily cash balances, working capital, and bank reconciliations

* Process payroll for office staff and manage credit insurance cover

* Supervise and develop members of the finance team

* Champion the implementation and ongoing use of Prophet 21 (Epicor ERP)

Key Skills of a Financial Controller:

* Proven experience in finance management (Financial Controller or similar)

* Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial controls expertise

* ATT or equivalent financial qualification

* Experience with stock and inventory accounting (advantageous but not essential)

* Confident using finance and ERP/accounting systems (Epicor Prophet 21 experience beneficial)

* Excellent organisation, accuracy, and analytical ability

* Strong communication skills, with the confidence to work across all levels

* A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach

What’s on Offer:

* A pivotal role at the heart of a well-established, forward-thinking business

* The opportunity to shape systems and processes during an exciting transition

* A supportive leadership team that values professionalism and fresh ideas

* Competitive salary of £40,000 – £50,000 per annum plus benefits

* Excellent scope for professional development in finance and leadership
