Drivers Mate – Rochester

Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours per week (overtime paid on 6th shift only)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (contract states any 5 from 7 days)
Flexibility required during busy periods to meet business needs
Start times between 4:00am – 6:00am (must have your own transport)
Shifts up to 12 hours, averaging 48 hours per weekHoliday:

25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
Site closed over Christmas – holiday must be reserved for this periodRequirements:

DBS check required
Good timekeeping and reliability essentialAreas Covered:
Kent, Sussex, London, Surrey, Hampshire, Oxford

About the Role:
Join our team as a Drivers Mate supporting the home delivery of kitchens – a physically demanding but rewarding role. Working as part of a 2-person crew, you’ll:

Assist with the delivery and unloading of goods to customers’ rooms of choice
Make customer calls with ETAs and record all deliveries accurately
Ensure deliveries are completed within allocated time windows
Scan all products on delivery
Report any parking issues immediately to delivery support or transport office (record required to avoid liability)
Follow training and safety protocols — all vehicles are equipped with cameras for security and monitoringAdditional Info:

Vehicles are pre-loaded overnight — unloading only required at delivery pointsIf you’re hardworking, punctual, and enjoy hands-on work in a customer-facing role, we’d love to hear from you
