We're working exclusively with a family-owned, market-leading supplier of decorative aggregates, landscaping, and garden products who are entering an exciting phase of expansion. To support this journey, they are looking for a Category Manager to take ownership of their core ranges while driving innovation and new product development.

This is a hands-on, business-critical role where you'll initially be responsible for the aggregates and water features categories, with a view to expanding into new product lines (such as pots and complementary garden products) as the business grows.

You'll be based on-site, working closely with the leadership team, suppliers, and operations to ensure products are commercially viable, well-sourced, and aligned with customer expectations.

Manage existing product categories (aggregates & water features), ensuring product availability, margin, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and execute category strategies, including range reviews, product innovation, and expansion into new categories such as pots.
Lead Far East sourcing initiatives, working closely with suppliers to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and efficient supply chains.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure products meet market demands.
Monitor category performance, identify opportunities, and recommend strategies for growth.
Work closely with the leadership team to influence product direction and business growth strategies.What We're Looking For:

Proven category management or product management experience within the aggregates, garden products, or landscaping supplies sectors.
Strong Far East sourcing experience, ideally with established supplier networks.
Commercially astute with a strong grasp of product margins, lifecycle, and market trends.
Innovative mindset with the ability to spot gaps in the market and develop new categories.
Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple product lines.
A hands-on, proactive approach, comfortable working closely with operational teams.
Must be based within commutable distance to South Yorkshire, this is an on-site role, 5 days a week.What's Next?
