Description

Streamline Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a global logistics company to recruit a Junior Export Operations Executive based at their Tilbury site. They offer Air, Sea, Road, and Rail freight services with over 40 years’ expertise in the field.

They are looking to grow their team and appoint a Junior Export Operations Executive who has some industry experience, ideally with exposure to sea exports, and is looking to grow their career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Assist with the end-to-end management of export jobs, including handling export entries.

*

Book shipments and liaise with carriers to ensure smooth transport of goods.

*

Support the operations team in coordinating documentation for deep-sea exports.

*

Monitor and update export schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.

*

Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external partners to resolve any operational issues.

*

Learn and develop knowledge of export compliance, customs procedures, and industry best practices.

*

Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to team efficiency.

Requirements:

*

Some prior experience in logistics or export operations.

*

Knowledge of deep-sea exports is highly desirable.

*

Experience in booking jobs is advantageous.

*

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

*

Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

*

Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Location: Tilbury
Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00
Salary: £26,000–£28,000 (dependent on experience)
