Description

Our client is a well established and successful manufacturer, they are looking for an Account Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the handling of customers in the first instance, cooperating and liaising with internal teams, and supporting the customers’ daily business requirements.

* Relevant experience in a similar role is essential (within a manufacturing or FMCG environment will be favoured)

* Able to communicate to all levels of the business
* Good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
Hours of work: 37 hours a week, a rotating weekly shift:
Week 1 – 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm Friday.
Week 2 – 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 1:00pm Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Processing and confirming customer orders in a timely manner
* Overview of dispatches with Logistics, monitor stock levels of finished products
* Prepare any Export documentation for overseas shipments, raise & distribute all invoices
* Loading new sales enquiries into the system, populating quotations in timely manner
* Monitoring blocked stock & the resorting process, ensure availability of goods in time for demand
* Monitor stock positions, update & confirm customer stock files, liaise with planning for productions
* Actively communicate with customers if problems occur (e.g. delayed delivery, late payment of invoices, stock losses, quality issues etc.)
* Chase overdue payments and liaise with the Finance Dept. solving any issues, and monitoring credit limits
* Coordinate external secondary processes
* Coordinates internal purchase and sale of goods
* Coordinate and clarify progress with departments
* Obtaining purchase orders and processing the invoices
* Generate stock invoice list and process against each customer stock holding policy
* Proactively populate & monitor customer forecasts and communicate any changes
* Working on and coordinating new projects
* Process and distribute Purchase Application Forms
* Communicate with customers if any claims or complaints are raised, to record the claim information into the database and inform the local QA, and coordinate between QA and customer
* Manage Customer returns, scrap note raising, monitoring stock accuracy where necessary
* Organisation of customer visits (in house)
* Holiday cover of reception duties
* General Administration duties
