A welcoming secondary school in Chard is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who need additional support, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Location: Chard
Pay Rate: £14.66 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
Assist in the implementation of individual education plans
Support classroom activities and help maintain a positive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
Promote inclusion and encourage independence in studentsRequirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred)
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)Why Join Us?
