We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team working from home and in our prestigious new office in Leeds on 12 month fixed term contract.

About the Role

You will be responsible for backfill within operations and billing and purchase team. You will deliver a high level client service experience both internally and externally. You will also look to continually improve the quality of the service delivered through proactivity, good communication, technical skill and organisation.

The role will provide you with a great opportunity to work in a varied environment covering a wide range of different responsibilities including processing of all computer input to the accounts system, production and distribution of computer and manual cheques for all office and client accounts.

It is essential that you have experience in purchase Ledger queries & inputting & filing purchase ledger invoices. A clear understanding of posting and payment of in-house expense payments

We are looking for someone ideally with 2 years’ experience of working in an accounts environment. The successful candidate will need to have both excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work as a team player, particularly in communicating and supporting other team members. It would also be desirable to have experience of operating in a finance team within a legal environment.
