Production Operative

Salary: £12.50 – £13.00 per hour
Location: Wokingham (RG41 area)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (37.5 paid hours per week)
Contract: Permanent
Start: ASAP

Syntech Recruitment is working with a growing manufacturing business in Wokingham to find a hardworking Production Operative to join their small, friendly production team. This is a hands-on role in a clean, well organised environment — ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks.

What’s in it for you:
Permanent, full-time position with a stable employer

Competitive hourly rate of £12.50 – £13.00, depending on experience

Straightforward day shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

20 days holiday + bank holidays (gaining an extra day each year)

Potential weekend overtime at time and a half

Production Operative Duties:
Support all production activities within the moulding and assembly department

Change materials, print labels, and prepare finished goods for dispatch

Check, weigh, palletise, and log completed components

Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the production area

Assist with measuring parts, tool changes, and quality checks as needed

Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Production Operative Profile:
Previous manufacturing or production experience (injection moulding experience a plus)

Proactive and flexible approach to varied daily tasks

Good communication skills and attention to detail

Reliable, punctual, and works well as part of a small team
