A private family estate in the North Cotswolds is seeking a reliable and professional individual to join their household team. This is a varied and hands-on role that combines front of house service, household support, and light estate duties, ensuring the smooth running of the home and a warm, welcoming environment for the family and their guests.

Key Responsibilities

* Front of house service: setting tables, polishing silverware, preparing dining areas, and serving meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

* Welcoming and serving guests, including cocktails and drinks service.

* Coordinating with the chef to support meal service, including clearing and rubbish/recycling duties.

* Maintaining family and social areas, ensuring they are tidy, comfortable, and ready for use.

* Assisting with weekend routines (collecting papers, lighting/tidying fireplaces).

* Seasonal set-up and breakdown of entertaining areas and coordinating with the gardening team for outdoor spaces.

* Pet care (including occasional overnight stays).

* Driving duties, including occasional school runs.

* Light handyman tasks and small repairs; supporting other estate staff with lifting/moving furniture or event preparation.

* Daily property care, including opening/locking up and ensuring appliances and systems are functioning.

Preferred Attributes

* Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.

* Warm, professional, and confident in a front of house role.

* Ability to multitask and work independently, while also supporting the wider team.

* Practical skills for minor repairs and general estate support.

* Physically fit and able to assist with manual tasks.

* Pet-friendly and comfortable caring for animals.
