Job Opportunity: A-Level Science Teacher - Full-Time - Start ASAP

A dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable A-Level Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated students and contribute to a thriving science department committed to academic excellence and student success.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality A-Level lessons in one or more science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), supporting students in achieving strong outcomes and preparing them for further education or careers in STEM.

Key Responsibilities

Teach A-Level Science (subject specialism flexible)
Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback
Support students with exam preparation and coursework
Contribute to departmental development and enrichment activities

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching A-Level Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for science education
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
