Year 2 Class Teacher (QTS) – Full-Time | Start ASAP

Near Market Harborough | 3-Form Entry Primary School | Until July 2026

Link3 Recruitment are working with a thriving 3-form entry school close to Market Harborough that is looking for a talented Year 2 Teacher to join their welcoming and supportive team as soon as possible, continuing through to the end of the academic year.

The Role

As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Create a positive and inspiring classroom atmosphere

Work closely with colleagues in the parallel Year 2 classes to share ideas and best practice

Attend staff meetings, parents’ evenings, and contribute to wider school life

This is a full-time role that includes planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) responsibilities.

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 2 desirable)

A reflective practitioner with a growth mindset and a passion for helping pupils succeed

Strong communication and teamwork skills
