Are you a skilled MIG Welder looking for your next opportunity? We’ve got a great contract role with a well-established engineering company near Saffron Walden — with plenty of hours available, and overtime up for grabs.

This is a contract to start, but for the right person, it could absolutely turn into a permanent gig. They’re a busy team with full order books and need another safe pair of hands (and a steady one, at that).

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing:

MIG welding on mild steel components

*

Working from technical/engineering drawings

*

Supporting fabrication and assembly tasks as needed

*

Ensuring high standards of weld quality and finish

*

Pitching in around the workshop as required

✅ What You’ll Need:

Proven MIG welding experience (2+ years preferred)

*

Ability to read and interpret drawings

*

Good attention to detail and a solid work ethic

*

Own transport ideal due to semi-rural location
