VP of Culinary Overview:

As part of exciting growth in the U.S., a new leadership position has been created: The Vice President of Culinary — will elevate the culinary vision and standards across the New York and wider US operations. The VP of Culinary position is a pivotal role that will shape and drive the culinary strategy, inspire teams, and ensure The Company remains synonymous with excellence, creativity, and innovation.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional culinary leader with a strong understanding of the New York landscape as well as having a proven background as an Executive Chef or Senior Culinary Leader in a Michelin-starred restaurant. You will bring deep knowledge of fine dining, exceptional quality standards, and an innate understanding of the guest experience. This is a rare opportunity to influence the culinary direction of a dynamic, growing brand and partner closely with a passionate leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

* Culinary Leadership & Vision:

* Define, develop, and implement a clear culinary vision that enhances and evolves the business food offering across all client sites.

* Ensure the company’s culinary identity reflects the highest levels of creativity, consistency, and quality.

* Lead culinary innovation and menu development, introducing seasonal, sustainable, and trend-led dishes that inspire both clients and teams.

* Operational Excellence:

* Oversee culinary operations across the existing New York client base, ensuring flawless execution and consistent standards.

* Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to chefs, encouraging professional growth, creativity, and accountability.

* Continuously assess food quality, presentation, and service standards to exceed client expectations.

* Client Engagement & Business Growth:

* Partner closely with the Senior Leadership Team during new business bids and client presentations — helping to bring the brand’s culinary vision to life and inspire potential clients to sign up.

* Collaborate directly with clients to understand their culture, preferences, and culinary goals, translating them into bespoke, memorable dining solutions.

* Act as an ambassador for the brand — confidently presenting culinary concepts and passionately articulating our approach to food and service.

* Innovation & Brand Development:

* Stay at the forefront of global food trends, sustainability practices, and modern culinary techniques to keep the business ahead of the curve.

* Lead R&D initiatives, fostering innovation and driving new product and service development across all accounts.

* Champion local sourcing, sustainability, and responsible culinary practices.

* Collaboration & Culture:

* Work as a master collaborator across culinary, operations, and business development functions.

* Inspire, engage, and empower culinary teams at all levels to deliver excellence every day.

* Promote a culture of passion, inclusivity, and continuous improvement across the organization.

About You

* Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Culinary Director in a Michelin-starred or equivalent fine dining environment in New York.

* Exceptional understanding of food quality, presentation, and the art of creating extraordinary dining experiences.

* Charismatic and confident communicator, capable of inspiring clients, colleagues, and culinary teams alike.

* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to foster creativity and accountability.

* Commercially astute, with experience partnering with business leaders to support growth and new business development.

* Passionate about food, innovation, and delivering experiences that leave a lasting impression.

* A strategic thinker who can balance creative vision with operational and financial discipline.
