Oxfordshire hybrid with UK & occasional overseas travel

Work at the cutting edge of automation and control, designing systems that drive smarter, faster, and more reliable manufacturing.

You'll be part of an experienced engineering team developing full life-cycle control systems for bespoke automation and vision-based machinery from concept through design, programming, commissioning, and support.

What you'll do:

*

Design and specify complete control systems, panels, and electrical layouts.

*

Program PLCs and HMIs (Siemens / Allen Bradley) for industrial automation systems.

*

Produce wiring diagrams, terminal plans, and layouts in AutoCAD Electrical.

*

Create specifications, process flow diagrams, and control architectures.

*

Commission and integrate systems across UK and international sites.

*

Support electrical fitting, testing, and problem-solving during build and installation.

*

Maintain and upgrade existing control systems.

What you'll need:

*

3+ years of experience in PLC and HMI programming (Siemens or Allen Bradley).

*

Strong background in industrial automation, safety circuits, and electrical control gear.

*

Experience designing panels and schematics in AutoCAD Electrical (or similar).

*

Understanding of communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, EtherNet/IP, etc).

*

Logical thinker with strong organisational and communication skills.

Desirable:

*

Degree in Electrical or Control Engineering.

*

Knowledge of robotics or machine vision systems.

*

Full UK driving licence.
