Attendance Officer - Home visits

Location: Chorlton, M21
Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term

Are you an experienced attendance officer with previous experience working in a school settings?
Or maybe you have pastoral experience in a mainstream or PRU?

💼 About the Role:

*I am looking for an experienced attendance officer to work in a PRU in Manchester, this role will require you mainly to be out on home school visits with your aim to increase attendance, this is a huge focus for the PRU this academic year.

*You'll work as part of a dedicated and supportive team, creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes personal growth and educational progress.

*You will be provided with safeguarding training and a risk assessment will be completed for every visit.

🔍 We're Looking For:

*Experience working in attendance or a pastoral role within a school/alternative provision

*Experience working with young people with SEMH, behavioural needs, or similar challenges

*A calm, consistent, and non-judgemental approach

*Resilience, empathy, and the ability to de-escalate situations effectively

*A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
