Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Worksop

Academics is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support local primary schools across Worksop.

As a Teaching Assistant in Worksop, you will be an integral part of school teams, helping to foster a positive learning environment. Your day will involve supporting pupils through one-to-one and small group sessions, assisting with classroom management, and preparing engaging learning materials.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Candidate:

To excel as our Teaching Assistant in Worksop, you will need:

A recognised Cache or NVQ Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or a related field such as Early Years Education).

An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service, or be willing to apply for one.

A genuine passion for nurturing and supporting primary-aged children.

A solid understanding of safeguarding principles and the willingness to complete mandatory annual training.

A Paediatric First Aid certificate is highly desirable.
