Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke furniture, renowned for quality craftsmanship and innovative design. Based in Roscommon, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional products and service to customers across Ireland. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview

The Stock Controller will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods. This role is critical to ensuring production efficiency and timely delivery of customer orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in stock control with strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods

Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies

Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials

Receive, inspect and record incoming deliveries

Maintain accurate inventory records using our ERP systems

Implement and improve stock control procedures

Liaise with suppliers and delivery teams to track incoming goods

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse and production areas

Requirements

Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
