What you’ll be doing (Quality Engineer / Quality Control Technician responsibilities):

Carrying out hands-on inspections of incoming parts and finished products. 
Manually checking components (sometimes in the hundreds or thousands per month).
Using Excel spreadsheets to record and analyse inspection data.
Assisting with supplier quality issues, reporting non-conformances, and supporting investigations. 
Manage and oversee the calibration of inspection equipment. 
Supporting customer quality checks, PPAP submissions, and internal audits. 
Compile ISIR’s for PPAP submissions and product approvals.
What we’re looking for:

An engineering qualification (degree, HNC, or similar) or some hands-on manufacturing/engineering experience. 
A sharp eye for detail and patience to carry out repetitive inspection work accurately. 
Confident IT skills (particularly Excel). 
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on and practical work, as it involves standing, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and occasionally working on their feet.
An awareness of quality tools, such as PPAP, SPC, and FMEA, would be desirable.
