Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and confident English Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in South Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term position, ideal for someone committed to helping students develop a lifelong love of literature and language.

The Role:

As the successful English Teacher, you will:

Teach engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that challenge and inspire all learners

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives

Support the school's literacy strategy and promote a positive learning environment

Take part in departmental meetings, assessment, and whole-school activities

Requirements:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✅ Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
✅ Strong classroom management and communication skills
✅ Passion for English literature, language, and student achievement
✅ Ability to inspire, motivate, and build positive relationships with students
✅ Must have the Right to Work in the UK
✅ Hold a Child-Only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply through Tradewind Recruitment
